How to view point lists graphically without AutoCAD.

Sometimes you want to view a list of 2D or 3D points (from a GPS device or Excel worksheet or a simple text file or an Access table) without having to use AutoCAD (or MicroStation).

Pointor is a program which does that, here is an overview:

It also lets you save the points as a DXF file, on the layers you speficy. You can search for named and numbered points, as well as points above or below a certain level. Here is a screenshot:
