Batch Printing Photometric Files With PhotoView

Click here an overview of the batcher.

The commands for printing Photometric data are usually used to print with a PDF program like PDFCreator. So you can create many PDF files of photometric data from your luminaires in a single go.

PRINT_TITLED:

An example...

LOADFILE "C:\ME\MINE.LDT" SHOW_TAB BEAM PRINT_TITLED "My Luminaire"

...will load the MINE.LDT Eulumdat file, show its beam opening diagram and then print that diagram to whatever is the default printer on your system. If the printer accepts a filename (like PDFCreator) the PDF file will be called "My Luminaire.PDF"

PRINT_CUSTOM:

This command will print the pages you have set up in the custom configuration dialog:

Batch Print Photometric Files To PDF

The title of the output PDF file (if you are printing to file) depends on the name of the luminaire you have loaded into PhotoView. Here is an example:

LOADFILE "C:\TEST\ASTRO.LDT" PRINT_CUSTOM

PRINT_CUSTOM_TITLED:

This command will print the pages you have set up in the custom configuration dialog (as explained above) but also allows you to set the name of the resulting PDF file. Here's an example:

LOADFILE "C:\DOCS\123ABC.LDT" PRINT_CUSTOM_TITLED "EUL123"

If you are printing to file the output will be called EUL123.PDF.
