How To Extract Points From Dxf Files

If you need to export point data from a DXF file to create a CSV file (or paste into Excel) then this pragram will do it for you. A simple example of point extraction is shown below:

The preview dialog tells you how many of which entity (POINT, POLYLINE, CIRCLE) are present and you choose which of them to bring into your pointlist.

Pointor can be used to export the Point Number (a unique number identifying the point) as well as the X Y and Z coordinates (sometimes called Easting Northing and Elevation).
