How to import x,y coordinates from a text file and output a DXF. You often get a list of x y (or even x y z) coordinates and need to import them into a CAD program or to make a DXF file of the positions of the points. This program makes it easy as copy and paste from your text file or a direct read of your text file:
In the above example you can see how a .CSV file can be used to create a DXF file, but note that Pointor works just as well with TXT files. Another view of the program is shown below:
In the above case we have copied a block of text in the Excel file and pasted it into Pointor. Then you can save the DXF of the points using the File menu.
