Code-X-Y formats

Top  Previous  Next

These formats have three columns, the first is usually a 2 character code, and the second and third columns are usually X followed by Y coordinates or Y followed by X. Here is an example:

A1        124733        509303

A3        125304        508673

A5        124851        507612

C1        124652        507927

C3        124066        508506

E5        124473        512233

E6        124501        511773

E7        124530        511297

In the above example the first column is the code, the second column is the x coordinate and the third column is the y coordinate. The seperator (what is between A1 and 124733 for example) is a tab, or maybe a space.
