XL to AutoCAD Mapping Software. This application program lets you quickly view of your list of GIS mapping points. You can also save the data as a DXF file for later import into AutoCAD and other CAD programs. Here is a screenshot of the main window of the program:
And below are some screenshots which show the simple steps to get your point list data into AutoCAD. The first step is to select the points you want to import and copy them into the clipboard. Then paste them into Pointor. You will be asked to select the format. The text panel on the right of the screenshot below gives you immediate feedback on whether the format you have chosen makes sense:
Once the format has been selected, there is a graphical preview of the points, as shown below:
Now simply click on OK and see the points graphically on your screen:
You can zoom and pan around the image. The next but one step is to change various options as shown below (if you want to of course):
Finally Pointor also lets you save the list as a DXF file easy import into CAD programs like AutoCAD, IntelliCAD, Rhino etc:
