You must setup the page before you can print a single sub image. To do this use the File | Setup Single Sub Image Printing... item. You will get this dialog:
This lets you choose the scale, add a single line caption, change the size and font of the caption. It also gives you the size of the paper and the image in cm or inches.
If you want more control over printing a single image you can of course use the multiple image printing, but adding only one image.
