How to apply a Roy Lichtenstein effect to your photos

This iconic photograph Che and the Roy Lichtenstein Effect will serve as an example, but you can of course use your own digicam or scanned photos.

Here are some examples of what Repligator can create from your original photo:

Examples of Pop Art (Roy Lichtenstein Effect)

Simply bring the photo into the program (drag and drop it, or use the file menu) and select the effect you want, in this case the Pop Art Filter, which is based on Roy Lichtenstein's style. Then choose the settings you want with the dialog shown below:

And you get the image shown below:

Unlike many programs Repligator allows you to easily mix the original image with the new one. This is just one of the 150 different effects available. If you like the Lichtenstein filter you may also like to have a look at the Warhol Style Filter, an example is shown below:

"I was actually on google (searching for Roy Lichtenstein images). I followed a link and ended up on your page. It was great, because I was wondering if there was an easy way to transform pictures into 'Pop Art' Style. There are some companies out there that do that for you, but they are quite expensive, unlike Repligator".
