Sketch
filters (sometimes called effects) which turn your images into (usually)
pencil sketches.
Here is an example image:
This actually uses the "swarms" effect to get a sketch effect. Note also that all effects in the program have a"mix" setting which is how we got that left-right effect shwon above. Here is the dialog box for the rough sketch filter (you can see the mix settings under the preview image):
