Export Excel Data to AutoCad DXF Files Sometimes you have some data (usually lists of points or vertices) in an Excel file and want to make a DXF file of lines and points from this data. Maybe the data comes from a GIS device or from some calculation. The quickest way to create your DXF file is to copy the block of Excel data using the Windows clipboard and paste it into Pointor, see the diagram below:
Although we are talking about Excel and AutoCAD here you can copy the data from any program which contains a table of points and read the DXF file with any CAD program which accepts DXF files.
