The Old Film Effect This filter is sometimes called the scratched photo effect, and you can use it to turn modern (digital or traditional) photos into old black and white photos, complete with scratches and/or dirt!
Below is a screenshot of the dialog box, and shows how simple the effect is to use:
Here are some other examples: In the egg example the old film filter was applied twice to a simple white oval on a black background get this strange effect.
