How to turn your images into a Pointillist painting. Simply open your image file, or drag it into the main window, and when asked for the effect (there are 130 of them) you need to choose "Pointillism". The dialog box is simple, as you can see below:
You can choose the colors on the palette of the artist, as well as the density and size of the strokes he uses to create the image. Below you can see the original and the filtered:
