Whether you buy the Home or the Pro Version of Repligator depends on how you use it. This is a rough guide to help you decide which is the best value for you:
Both versions have exactly the same effects.
If you will use vector output of some of the filters then you should buy the Pro Version.
If you want to use Repligator as a plugin then buy the Pro version. Make sure that the demo of Repligator works with the paint program you want to use.
If you are not interested in vector output and do not want to use Repligator as a plugin and do not know or care what a "preset" is then you should choose the Home version.
If you use Repligator often and regularly for creating your images, and want to save settings for later use then you should buy the Pro Version, with its Preset saving and loading.
If you just want to quickly apply effects to your digital camera photos (or other images) then you should buy the Home Version.
If you want to use the advanced selection dialog then buy the PRO version.
The Pro version also allows you to switch off the image import wizard.
The Pro has a maximum image width of 6500 pixels.
The Home version has a maximum image width of 2500 pixels
